Homework time! You fill out a positioning questionnaire, providing us with info on where you are at with your business, your values, and where you are headed. We take an in-depth look at your target clientele, who they are, their values and what may guide and support their purchasing decisions.
We pull it all together in one cohesive Brand Strategy Document — providing the foundational direction (think of this as your road map) to where we need to position your business visually to appeal to your client base and purposefully set you apart from others in your market. We set the tone for the design with a mood board and colour palette, keeping our design focused as we move forward.
With the foundation of our work in place, the design phase begins. For Signature Brand Identity clients, we work with multiple concepts up front narrowing as we go to select the strongest, most impactful solutions for your business. This is provided to you in an a guided PDF presentation of your brand with all the details and touchpoints included; including examples and mockups of the design in use so you can visualize how everything will come to life for you AND your target audience.
Based on your feedback, we refine together through two rounds of revisions until perfection.
Everything you need to bring your new brand to the world. All of your files are provided in a zipped folder, along with a 30+ page Brand Guidelines document outlining your complete brand identity, and how to implement it professionally and with confidence. I’ll be sending you off with a set of thoughtfully designed launch images for you to share on social media, and eagerly cheering you on as you celebrate!
And this is just the beginning! If your project includes custom website design, we dive right into that process and keep the momentum going.
We lay now the foundation for how your site will function – what is the core purpose of your website? How do we nurture your audience for strategic growth and in what ways can we optimize for conversions? We dive DEEP and ask a series of data-driven questions that will help us focus the design on solving sticky points in your business and clearing pathways for growth.
You are sent off with a Website Content Guide to finalize your website content, and then we can dive right into design!
*Note I almost always recommend working with a copywriter for developing the messaging and content of your website and will connect you with my list of trusted professionals that are absolute magic in this field.
Design time! We design a full suite of PDF mockups of the pages on your site based on the above for you to review. We’ll work collaboratively through 2 rounds of refinement to finalize your design (+ 1 final round after we upload).
Moving into development, we uploading your design and start custom coding all the creative details that make your website stand out from the crowd. Our team records a series of personalized video tutorials, preps a quick-reference guide, launch materials – and then we pop the champagne and celebrate!
